He is one of the three players from the Olympic 2000 team who was sensationally drop by hatem Soussi but showed evertone what he really made of when he played consistently well for Perak. His consistency has earned him a call up for the national team preparing for the sea games in 1998 and was also named as one of the trainee in the team that played Arsenal in a friendly in 1998 which rised a question of if he is good enough for the senior national team then why was he dropped from the Olympic team in the first place.He is a dead ball specialist for long range free kicks as he can hit the ball with a lot of pace and curl as shown when he scored a stunner against Selangor last year with a shot that hit the bar and bounced into the net. He is still young but lots of experience but still he has a lot more to improve to make it big one day.
